I've been thinking about selling off a lot of my collection too. I haven't bought any new figures since the dragons..not even AOME or the toybiz LOTR ones. It seems my enthusiasm for collecting toys has waned. I'll be getting a few here and there though, so I'm not stopping completely.

I'm giving up on some toys, not on friends.
I'm also fixing to go this route, ive just lost interest in mainly colecting period.
I also will be offering up all my mcfarlane stuff.
Mine is mainly all spawn stuff, but i do have some complete sets and other figs from the lines.
sometimes I think my life would be so much easier if I didn't collect anymore...it's expensive and takes up a lot of space / time / effort. but I just can't bring myself to let go of the figgies...every time I look at them, they still bring me the same joy and inspiration.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">those are big reasons why I haven't really been collecting all that much these days (money and space). that, and I've just lost a lot of interest in it. I'll be keeping some figures, of course..I'm not quite at the point where I want to get rid of everything.Originally posted by munkkey munk and the funky bunch:

thats how I feel munnkey. I love to look at them and remember the hunt for as many of them as I can. they're just as cool when I look at them today, as they were when I got them
I have sold off some of the more valuable toys in my collection that I couldn't care less about recently. I still have well over 200 MOC figs that I plan on keeping for many years to come.
I recently rekindled an old passion- collecting vinyl records. I have bought 4 in the last few weeks. Man, there is no comparison between vinyl & CD when you listen to slow, sludgy, bass-infused doom rock.
yup...any time I start to think, "Yeah, I should really sell some of my stuff...", all I have to do is look at the figures and I'm like, "Oh my god! what was I thinking????"
It's hard for me to comprehend what it feels like to lose interest in this hobby. I have such an emotional attachment to it, that it's not something I can see myself growing out of.
